If you have an ear, nose and throat (ENT) condition, the Mount Lotus Hospital is pleased to offer a wide variety of tests that you may have to undergo as part of the management of your condition. The tests are carried out to confirm the diagnosis, rule out other possible conditions which may require different treatments, and find out how severe the condition is. Following the treatments, further test are carried out to monitor the response and progress of the patient’s condition so that the treatment can be changed at the right time. If surgery is required at some point during the treatment, that can also be easily carried out by our team of consultent ENT surgeons.

Speech Therapy is professional rehabilitation service for people with communication (including hearing, speaking, reading and writing) and/or swallowing disorders. At Mount Lotus Hospital, our Speech Therapists provide screening, assessment and diagnostic service, decide individualized treatment plans, and offer relevant suggestions and consultations to people with communication and/or swallowing disorders. Mainly, speech treatments are given for patients who are recovering from surgery, oral cancer, stroke, traumatic brain injury etc. Speech therapists will also help individuals, family, and support groups in need with relevant counselling and follow-up service, and educate on related issues.
